CATAZONON

According to the 2nd-century BC writer Aelian, the Catazonon was a Unicorn who inhabited the land of India. It had a yellow-red coat with a black horn and mane. It lived in the mountains, preying upon the lion, which was its enemy. Although it might be killed by hunters, it could never suffer itself to be taken alive and would die before facing captivity.
